JPIC Autumn Newsletter

As we continue the Creationtide journey  through these weeks up to the 4th October, the Assumption Justice,  Peace & Integrity of Creation Team brings you some news and inspiration.

Sr Jess reports from the National JPIC Conference in July: "The speakers spoke from wide and deep experience, this gave body and passion to what they said. This united them as well as all being inspired by the themes of Laudato Si, the important document addressed to us all, the whole human family, by Pope Francis."

Sr Pat shares two stories from Newcastle: introducing the Open Cafe Brunswick Methodist Church, which offers a variety of activities in the city centre, for people of all ages and states in their lives. The second one about Refugees & Asylum Seekers - Armenian and Syrian refugees... a hundred years ago and today.

'Snakes and Ladders' Defends the Climate - read about Sr Jess's educative activities on climate change during the International Bicentenary Youth Pilgrimage in France in August.
