On the feast of All Saints, Francesca, from our English province, was officially received into the European noviciate, and has begun to wear the purple which characterises Assumption sisters! The three other new novices are Ophélie-Thérèse from France, Victoria from Spain and Mercedes from Guatemala.

Sisters Patricia and Clare Bernadette from England joined the celebration in Pavillons-sous-Bois, just outside of Paris.
During the Ceremony the novices were presented with a Crucifix, a Bible and a Rosary, symbols of their religious commitment.
It is wonderful to see the European Assumption novices taking the next step on their journey. Please keep Francesca and her companions in your prayer!

The feast of Our Lady’s Assumption is always a special occasion, but this year it was marked with extra significance.

We are delighted that Sister Rekha has been elected as new General Superior for the Religious of the Assumption. Sr Rekha Chennattu is a Scripture scholar from the Indian Province of the Congregation.
