Below are some recent comments from those who have stayed in Milleret House, hired rooms for their own events or attended events that we have run here.
We had the most constructive day yesterday in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and we all enjoyed it. There is absolutely nothing that you need improving on - the directions were clear, the kitchen well stocked, the library peaceful and the garden including your pet tortoise just lovely.

Very comfortable and peaceful. Exactly the safe and supportive atmosphere needed for a week's prayer and reflection.
The staff found the morning really beneficial as it provided a quality opportunity for personal reflection. There is not often much time for this at school! Thank you again for your help in planning our retreat morning. I will be recommending Milleret House as a venue to my colleagues.

Just a note to thank you and all at Milleret House for making my time there over the last few days so special. I found my stay to be very helpful indeed and felt very comfortable in the house. It was beautifully quiet, spotlessly clean, warm, welcoming and had an atmosphere of welcome and sanctity. I appreciated having the library and small sitting room to sit in as well as the chapel next door.

Thank you so much for all your help for our meeting. The other trustees, who hadn’t seen Milleret House before, were seriously impressed by the warm hospitality, the atmosphere and quiet, peaceful surroundings, the space available to us and the sense of being at home that was immediately obvious. Our chairman said that there is something about Roman Catholic hospitality that is a real blessing!

The location was great, the accommodation being so very central and extremely comfortable. I have to say also that it is absolutely the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in!!
Until they have visited, I don’t think anyone would believe that you could have such a special retreat house in central London. Milleret House combines the advantages of easy access by public transport and 24-hour reception with the feeling that you have suddenly stepped out of the hustle and bustle of life.
Tucked away in gardens behind Kensington Square the accommodation and the public rooms are light, comfortable and well-appointed. ...there is a beautiful church attached to which we were given access whenever we wanted.
The welcome from the Religious of the Assumption and the staff could not be more reassuring or sympathetic. In the time we spent there they managed not only to make us feel completely supported practically and by their prayers, but also demonstrated the greatest sensitivity to individual’s need for space.
Milleret House has none of the institutional atmosphere of some retreat centres. I cannot praise the quality of the welcome or the atmosphere of tranquility and calm too highly.

I just wanted to write and thank you for my wonderful two night stay in Milleret House this week. It was a real haven of peace in the busy city, and you provided everything we might need in the bedroom and for our breakfasts. The whole appearance of the rooms was faultless and quite modern, and the outlook over the gardens from ‘our’ sitting room was delightful.
Thank you so much for organising last Saturday’s Lent Retreat Day. It was wonderfully inspiring from beginning to end.
Zillion of thanks to all of you for such a wonderful heaven-like accommodation.
The party was a huge success, great fun and we absolutely loved it! We had 140 or so guests including some children. From our point of view it was absolutely brilliant as a venue.

Just to say thank you so much for all your help and support in the run up and during our training event! Both our volunteers and staff were so impressed with the venue and the service and it was a great success.

Thank you very much for your warm and welcoming hospitality. Am delighted to find you! And the garden! Lovely comfortable room and bed and great shower. Great to have the rails in showers and above bath too.
Thank you very much for your welcome and hospitality at Milleret House. We all enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere

Every week between 20 – 40 young adults associated with the Pure in Heart movement in the greater London area meet at Milleret House for prayer, catechesis, group discussion and socialising. During this time the numbers coming to the weekly meetings has increased considerably. This is due in no small part to the quality of the facilities at Milleret House and the welcome extended to us by the Religious of the Assumption.
As soon as you walk into the Chapel of the Assumption, you get an instant sense of peace and prayerfulness. The Sisters are dedicated in the upkeep of the chapel and maintain it as a beautiful place of prayer.
The facilities in Milleret House itself are second to none. We frequently use the multi-media equipment for giving presentations.
Milleret House has been a huge blessing to those of us associated with Pure in Heart in London and for this we are greatly indebted to the Religious of the Assumption in Kensington Square.
